Farmhand Dawn
Meet Farmhand Dawn. She is one of the gentle, steady presences at Rainbow Road Farm. Quiet, soft-spoken, and exceptionally kind, she cares for our chickens and goats four days each week. The animals are comfortable with her, and her calm nature helps them feel safe and secure.
Dawn does an excellent job maintaining the animals’ living areas and ensuring that their daily needs are met. She is especially fond of the goats and remains entirely unfazed by Red Rider, our occasionally bossy rooster. Although Red Rider may try to intimidate her, Dawn never allows him to bully her. That alone has earned her considerable respect around the farm!
Her love for animals extends beyond Rainbow Road Farm. Dawn also has four ducks of her own, who are fortunate to receive the same patient and attentive care she gives our animals.
Dawn helps create social media content for Rainbow Road Farm’s Instagram page, offering an authentic look at the daily responsibilities, routines, and joys involved in caring for farm animals. We look forward to sharing more of her videos soon.
