Farmer Tabby is one of the two founding managers of Rainbow Road Farm, the heart and hands behind its daily rhythm. As co-creator of the farm’s mission—to serve individuals living with PTSD, neurodivergence, and those from marginalized communities—Tabby brings structure, compassion, and steady leadership to everything she does.
She manages farm operations with precision and care, overseeing animal wellbeing, egg production, and resource management while also handling the farm’s computer systems and online presence. From inventory spreadsheets to social media outreach, Tabby keeps the farm connected and thriving.
Farmer Tabby is in charge of hiring, training, and supervising farm workers. Making strategic decisions based on factors like weather, market conditions, and disease outbreaks. Managing finances, including budgets, and keeping financial and production records. Planning and managing the sale of products to supermarkets, food companies, and other customers.
But her gifts don’t stop there, drawing from her background in psychology, she infuses the farm with therapeutic balance, ensuring that both animals and people find calm, purpose, and joy. With her gentle wisdom, open heart, and quiet confidence, Farmer Tabby helps every visitor find exactly what they didn’t know they were missing: peace.
Farmer Amber, also known as Farmer Mav is the Farm Manager and Co-Founder of Rainbow Road Farm. With dual doctorates in Psychology and Behavioral Health, she brings both scientific insight and compassionate leadership to the daily operations of the farm. Farmer Amber oversees all aspects of farm management from livestock planning to budgeting, production, and staff supervision, ensuring the farm operates efficiently, ethically, and sustainably.
Her work goes beyond agriculture. Under her direction, Rainbow Road Farm serves as a trauma-informed healing environment, designed to support neurodivergent individuals and those recovering from trauma through meaningful connection with animals, nature, and community. Farmer Amber thoughtfully curates the types of animals and therapeutic interactions used on the farm, fostering an atmosphere of safety, growth, and belonging.
In addition to supervising daily tasks such as future planting, fertilizing, and harvesting, fruits and veggies, she manages equipment maintenance, monitors soil and livestock health, and directs long-term sustainability goals. Guided by her belief that empathy and evidence-based care can coexist in every space, even a farmyard, Farmer Amber ensures Rainbow Road Farm remains a place where people, plants, and animals can thrive together.
